MTV World Stage ROCKED!

So here's the report on MTV World Stage:D Since i just got the pictures from the mosh pit auditions, i shall post it up here. Some of you might think.."hey! u really did that?!" Yes! Mic and I did these for the place at the mosh pit(best seats in the house!)

Moving on to the journey to KL! We went on the bus at around 3pm..some New Hoover bus i guess. And guess what?! There was a fight between some indians and the bus fella. It was something about at the first stop, the indians were supposed to seat at the back, bt the driver ask them to seat in front. But when they reached the secound stop, which was my station..those seats that they were sitting on belongs to some other people! So that was how the arguments started. They can make some small problem seem so big la! Like the saying..something bout making a mountain out of a molehill? ya, that one.lol

So anyways, we started our journey that took around 4 hours:)

We reached Puduraya at bout 12pm then decided to take a taxi to Sunway since we don't know how to go by public bus. The bloody malay taxi driver with a "chinese-pelat" slang cheated us by rm10! And guess what? he brought us to the wrong hotel=.= There's 2 Sun's Inn in Sunway..1 is right next to Sunway Pyramid, and the other one is a U-Turn away. Our's was the further one. So we had to walk all the way to Sunway Pyramid and take a taxi there. Thank God for the not-bad taxi driver, so my mum decided to let him earn more money and got his name card since we needed him to drive us back and forth from SP.

After we checked into our "hotel" room, we took a bath AND a nap! I couldn't really sleep though..bt on the other hand, Mic slept till saliva flooded the pillow!hahaha Reb gt so disgustedXD

Woke up, dress up and OFF WE GO TO MTV WORLD STAGE!!!!.....well, not really la. Well, we were supposed to register at the 2nd entrance of Sunway Lagoon which is near Euphoria Ministry of Sound. But we had NO IDEA where it was! so we round round and round the mall(not to mention it's big and complicated!), went outside, kept walking to the right of the mall.lol Then unfortunately, it started drizzling! It was so damn shitty la! But then we decided to go on our own and let mum and Reb go do their shopping. So we split since it was rather irritating that my mum keeps yapping non stop! But soon after that we found the place:D

I couldn't take better pictures because i went by the rule of not being allowed to bring camera in!=.= very dumb of me, i know!! But what to do?! My first time attending this kinda event what...i don't wanna risk getting kicked out of Mosh Pit just because of a camera ok! Anyway, after Mic and I got the Wet Weather Wear, it stopped raining=.= but it's oklah, being safe is better..at least we hv the weather wear already.lol So i'll let these pictures below do the talking aite!

The MCs for the day was none other than the MTV VJs!! There was Utt(most welcomed), Denise, Taya, Sean(MTV Korea) and Andy(MTV China)! I must say that Andy look goodXDlol

First up was DJ Rough spinning some Nirvana's song

then it was time to pump up the event!! by local band, Estranged!

I have no idea of the songs they played! Like duh, i don't listen to Estranged! But no doubt, they're not bad:) There was even a part when the lead singer asked everyone to squat so that when it comes to one part of the song then everyone can jump up la..bt the guys at the back didnt do it and the lead singer sorta scolded them:S

There was also a really BIG indian guy who wore red contacts and say one of the band member who wears those too, is his teacher=.= He looked really freaky, btw

Next up was BOYS LIKE GIRLS!!! Woo hoo! All the Mosh Pitters were shouting for Boys Like Girls during the minor sound check after Estranged performed! And out bursted Martin with his guitar! Songs they played: Love Drunk, The Great Escape, Hero/Heroine, Thunder(when it started to drizzle!).

not to forget, Mic's fav is Paul(the one in black!) and i find that he look REALLY like Enrique Iglesias!

Then it was 15 minutes break. Since we can't bring bottles in, they sold their bloody RM1-mineral-water for bloody RM5!! Crazy, i know! But what to do?! We needed water, or we'll die of dehydration! I got "scolded" when i wanted to bring in the drink.lol How am i suppose to know it wasn't allowed?!

Raygun was next! They're pretty good, i must say! I've nvr heard of them though..so i don't know their songs la. Mic and I reserved our energy for the bands we look forward to. So practically, we spent most of our energy and voices for Boys Like Girls, Hoobastank and The All-American Rejects la:D

Then it was time for the rose among the thorns of the night, Pixie Lott!! She's a very talented 18-year-old Brit:)(I read that everywhere=.=) She sang about 2 or 3 songs, i don't quite remember..but i only remember the last song's title, which is her latest single, Mama Do!

Break again, but this time Mic and I didn't go out because we wanted to secure our spotsXD After a major sound system problem, which took up a longer time than the break is supposed to take, Hoobastank came out with a bang!

he used to be my fav:P He was really cool..

They played a few songs and then Doug tested us on our song knowledge. They broke down to the song, Ghostbusters and every sang along, especially the "GHOSTBUSTERS!" part and he said, "You guys are ridiculous!" for knowing such song.lol Finally they ended with The Reason where EVERYONE sang along, pointing at him.lol

And finally....the performance that EVERYONE was looking forward to, THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS!!! They rocked like nobody's business, man! Tyson came out with glitters on his arms and face! They sang the most songs compared to the other bands that night, which was good!

They performed Dirty Little Secrets, Swing Swing, The Wind Blows, I Wanna and GIVES YOU HELL! At the last song, Tyson climbed the scaffold and nearly slipped! But thank God he didnt la!

Mic and I left right after AAR was done performing. The last band of the night was Kasabian, which i don't know who they are. So yeah, just pictures..no elaboration.lol

While we were rocking out at the Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach(the water was all drained out for this event!), Reb and mum went "shopping" in Sunway Pyramid! Reb belanja-ed mum some weird but pretty special ice-cream!lol It was some mango ice-cream with some nuts around:S

but mum was happy:)

Next day, before going back to JB, we went to Sunway Pyramid to walk around. Mic got her dress and an AAR inspired tshirt(i pick 1 ok!)lol Then we went to Chinatown and Central Market:) I got a Rolling Stones tshirt from Chinatown!haha..bt i bet it'll go out of shape very soon! Speaking bout that tshirt, when my mum asked the guy in Cantonese how much it was, he told her RM30. But when a Caucasian lady asked bout the same tshirt, he told her RM45! Then Mic told her the guy was cheating her. Kk, convo:
Caucasian Lady(CL):Hey, how much is this?
Guy(G): Err...RM45!*went back talking to mum*
Mic(M): He's cheating u..
CL: I know! I won't buy that for RM45!
but at last my mum successfully bargained with him for 2 tshirts at the price of RM30! So we so-called shared with that lady.lol Then another 2 Caucasian ladies that was super duper dumb! Petaling Street is the place to bargain! But they bought 2 fake polo tees at RM100! U tell me they stupid or not?!

Reb went ice skating in SP! Mic and I just companied her in
